Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on behalf of the County of Brazoria, Texas, on October 22, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., at the Brazoria County Commissioners Courtroom, 111 E. Locust, Suite 100-A, Angleton, Texas 77515, with respect to the issuance from time to time as a plan of finance of one or more series of bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $50,000,000, which may include refundings thereof, by the Brazoria County Industrial Development Corporation. Proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to Gladieux Metals Recycling, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, or an affiliate thereof or related person thereto (the “Borrower”), to finance or refinance the costs of acquiring, constructing, rehabilitating, developing, improving and equipping capital improvements, equipment, land and infrastructure and pay related financing costs with respect to expansion of the Company’s facilities including completion, capacity expansion and installation of one or more hearth furnaces and other equipment and improvements in connection with the Company’s solid waste disposal facilities located on approximately 56.939 acres of land at 302 Midway Road, Freeport, TX 77542-2290, including approximately 23,678 square feet of office facilities, 32.479 acres of spent catalyst recycling facilities, loading and unloading racks, storage facilities and other real and personal property (together, the “Project”). The initial owner or operator of the Project will be the Borrower. The Borrower operates a spent catalyst disposal facility at that site, consisting of recycling/reclamation of spent petroleum catalysts.
The public hearing will be conducted by the Commissioners Court of Brazoria County, Texas, or an authorized representative appointed by the County Judge. All interested persons are invited to attend such public hearing to express their views with respect to the nature and location of Project and the Bonds.
