Miss Dara Dalton and Lt. Zachary Frandsen were united in the holy sacrament of marriage on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Mansion Royal in Corpus Christi, Texas. Pastor Glenn Holland officiated the double ring ceremony. A reception with dinner and dancing followed the ceremony. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s father and step-mother at Water Street Seafood Company on the eve of the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Jana and Gregory Dalton of Freeport, Texas. A 2008 graduate of Brazosport High School, Dara received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 and a Master of Science degree in 2014, both from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Her field of study was Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She is currently employed at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station where she is a trainer and gym manager.
The groom is the son of Matthew Frandsen and Laurie Frappier of Sandia Park, New Mexico, and Melinda and Pedro Rosario of San Antonio, Texas. A 2012 graduate of Johnson High School in San Antonio, Texas, Zach received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Texas A&M Corpus Christi on May 13, 2017. He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves on May 12, 2017. Zach will be entering the Corpus Christi Police Academy in July.
The bride’s ivory lace dress was created from her mother’s and grandmother’s wedding dresses. The bridesmaids wore varying shades of coral while the maid of honor, Miss Ashleigh Eastwood, wore a teal colored gown. The groomsmen wore light grey colored suits with accents of coral and teal to match their escorted bridesmaid. The best man was Dustin McManus.
Bridesmaids and groomsmen were Faith and Colton Moorhouse, Adrienne Frandsen & Logan Manes, Nellie Ramirez & Mark Howard, Lesley Lorraine & Jordan Ayala, Megan Johnsen & Mike Pernell, and Lauren Mehring & Zach Ringham.
Following a honeymoon cruise to Belize, Honduras, and Cozumel, Lt. and Mrs. Frandsen will reside in Corpus Christi, Texas.
