On June 18, 2016, Rachel Marie McGown was given in marriage by her father, Jim McGown to Phillip Joshua Negron. Phillip and Rachel were married at All Saints Catholic Church in Houston by Father William A. Oliver.

Rachel, daughter of Jim and Linda McGown, of Lake Jackson, and granddaughter of La Verne Lippman, of Richwood, is a 2008 graduate of Brazoswood High School, and obtained her BBA in supply chain management from Texas A&M University in 2012.

Phillip, son of Jose and Aida Negron, of Trophy Club, TX, and grandson of Aida Ocasio, and Juan Negron & Leonor Marrero, of Puerto Rico, is a 2006 graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School, and obtained his BS in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University in 2011.

Standing with Rachel were her Maid of Honor, Katherine Ratcliff, and bridesmaids, Kayleen Negron, Cindy Hoang, Marissa Cutaia, Ashley Thomson, and Chrissy Noynaert.

Standing with Phillip were his Best Man, Peter Smith, and groomsmen, Brian Patt, Colyn Jurek, Michael Johnson, Anthony Vessel, and Simon Abramov.

Rylan and Dylan Rait were charged with being flower girls, while Aidan Chaidez was the ring-bearer for the ceremony. Kevin Ortega and Jeff Lencioni were ushers.

The bride wore a beautiful lace, fit and flare gown from Mikaella Bridal. The natural color lace with creamy soft pearl lining was stunning. The sweetheart neckline with pearl and crystal beaded straps were a perfect compliment to the low back and sweet train of the gown.

After the ceremony, the reception was held at The Gallery, where music and entertainment was provided by Jonny Black Productions.

After honeymooning in Germany, Prague, Santorini, and Switzerland, the newly wed couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
