Virginia Sue Tripson weds Wilson Ray Huffer

    Virginia Sue Tripson of Wharton, Texas, and Wilson Ray Huffer of West Columbia, Texas, were united in Holy Matrimony during a Nuptial Mass  celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton on April 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. The Mass was celebrated by Father Dominic Antwi-Boasiako, assisted by Deacon Alvin Mathys. Deacon Alvin also led the exchange of vows. Selections from the Holy Scriptures were read by Marcelyn Shelby, daughter of the groom, and Lorie Kolacny, daughter of the bride. Nancy Woodrow of Brazoria, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor, and Chuck Naiser, brother-in-law of the groom, of Rockport, served as Best Man. Flower girls were Blaine Johnson, granddaughter, and Kally Jo Johnson, stepgrand-daughter of the bride. Lucas, Kaden and Landon Kolacny, grandsons of the bride, served as ring bearers. Guests were greeted   by Rachelyn and Aaron Shelby, grandchildren of the groom. Music was provided by Lucas and Mary Erdelt of Wharton, vocals, Roel Rodriguez of Wharton, vocals and guitar, and Amanda Kitzmiller of Needville, piano.

    Following the ceremony, a reception and dinner  were held in the private dining room at Hinzes’ restaurant in Wharton. Kenny Stanford of West Columbia photographed the event.
