The Brazosport College Law Enforcement Academy is recruiting for enrollment in the Spring 2009 Basic Peace Officer Certification course.
The Basic Peace Officer Certification course begins in January, along with the regular spring semester, at Brazosport College. Registration begins Nov. 16. Applications must be completed and submitted to the college’s Law Enforcement Academy no later than Dec. 3. Successful applicants will participate in more than 600 hours of training in various subjects such as criminal law, firearms and arrest tactics, emergency driving, traffic enforcement and criminal investigation.
Orientation and classes begin Jan. 11, with graduation slated for May 7. Interested candidates may receive an application package at the college’s front desk or by contacting Teresa LeBlanc at 979-230-3442.
