FREEPORT — The Boys and Girls Club of Brazoria County will host its first mid-winter fundraiser to help provide needed supplies and materials for more than 1,500 students they serve every day in Southern Brazoria County.
The Boys and Girls Club members and staff will be selling raffle tickets during the month of February and hope to raise over $10,000. The raffle tickets will include items such as a 46 inch Insignia LCD TV donated by the Junior Service League of Brazosport, a custom built aluminum Texas themed cooler with additional storage donated by BASF, a Masterbuilt 40 inch Digital Electric Smokehouse donated by Theresa & Lance Goodwin and a Guided Inshore day Fishing Trip for two donated by Dow Chemical. Drawing day for the winners will be Friday, March 1st and the Freeport Club located at 311 W. 4th Street. It is not necessary to be present to win.
