Angleton Lions Club donated $500 to Connections for Hope Camp

The Angleton Lions Club donated $500 to help defray the costs of the Connections for Hope Camp, which was held July 26-27 at 1421 Buchta Road in Angleton. The purpose of the camp was to help children heal from the effects of early trauma, abuse and/or neglect. At the camp, families learn to better connect with one another, understand and meet their children’s physical needs and regulate behavior in the context of loving relationships. The campers were from ages 5 to 11 and all parents/caregivers of the campers were required to attend the two-day camp.
