Bertram Cooper

Bertram Cooper, age 86, of Holiday Lakes, Texa.s passed away June 28, 2019.

Bertram was born June 14, 1933, in Bakersfield, California, to Bertram and Ruby Pearson Cooper.

Bertram served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for TDCJ and retired from there after 16 years. He also worked for the State of Texas doing sheet metal fabrication. Bertram was married to Claudia Milner Cooper for 41 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Rita Claudette Raska Reed.

Survivors include his wife, Claudia; his children, Bruce Lee Cooper, Brenda Cooper, Danny Knox, James Dale Raska, David Wayne Raska, Raymond Darrell Raska, Roberta Celeste Raska Hamby; his sister, Maryellen; 21 grandkids and many great-grandkids.

Visitation will be at Palms Funeral home on Monday, July 1, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be Graveside Services on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum, Texas
