A service of worship celebrating the marriage of Rose Ann McFadden and Lee Hopwood was held December 30, 2007, in Kessler Park Methodist Church in Dallas with Dr. Mark Young of Stonebriar Community Church of Frisco officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Russell and Marj McFadden of West Columbia. She is a graduate of Brazosport High School, Texas A&M and Dallas Theological Seminary.

The groom is the son of Bob and Linda Hopwood of Sylacauga, Alabama. He graduated from Sylacauga High School, Auburn University and will receive his degree in August from Dallas Theological Seminary.

The bride wore a gown made by her mother. Her maid of honor was Debra Kralka of Dallas. Best man was Monte Brooks of Richardson, Texas. Tracie Hopwood (sister of the groom) and Mary Kidd (sister of the bride) were honorary bridesmaids and Mark McFadden (brother of the bride) served as usher.

Out-of-state guests attending were Erma and Mary Ann Rezabek of Oklahoma, great- aunts of the bride, Duane Zeman of Altus, Oklahoma, and the Leon Jelinek family of Wichita, Kansas, all cousins of the bride.

Also attending were Mrs. Norma Bayne and Jan Williams of Ponca City, Oklahoma, aunt and cousin of the bride.

Special out-of-town guests were Bill and Mary Kidd, Jessica and Samuel of Leander, Texas. Some special guests were a group of Rose Ann’s friends from Brazosport High School and Texas A&M and a group of Lee’s friends from Auburn and Birmingham, Alabama.

The couple went to British Columbia for their honeymoon and now reside in Dallas.
