Lillian 50th Anniversary
Earl and Elaine Lillian recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on August 15, 1959, at the First Baptist Church in Devine, Texas.
They moved to the Brazosport area in 1962. Earl was employed at BASF for 30 years, retiring in 1992. Elaine returned to school and graduated from the University of Houston at Clear Lake in 1977. She taught school at Clute Intermediate until 1992.
They have three sons: Jonathan of Clear Lake, Scott and wife Erin of Lake Jackson and James of Houston.
They have seven grandchildren and one great- granddaughter.
For their golden anniversary, they will take a trip in the autumn.
