Self 50th Anniversary
Betty and Gordon Self of Lake Jackson will celebrate their 50th anniversary on October 18, 2009. They have lived in this area since 1966.
Mrs. Betty Self is the former Miss Betty McShan of Nacogdoches, Texas.
The couple has four children. They are Denton, Ron and Tralen Self of Lake Jackson, and Gordon Lee Self of Houston.
Mr. Gordon Self is a substitute teacher for BISD School District. Mrs. Betty Self was employed at BISD Administration.
A reception is planned for Saturday, October 17, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 414 Petunia, Lake Jackson, hosted by the family of Betty and Gordon Self. Invitations are extended through the press.
