Man-controlled burns are hurting the wildlife
It is hard to believe the setting of grass fires at the Wildlife Refuge is not causing harm to the wildlife there and the environment surrounding them. If this is supposed to be a natural and protected area, what gives man the right to change it by way of burns?
Too bad the animals can’t set fire to man’s homes and watch them try to escape the fires and breathe the massive amounts of smoke they create. We, who have to be downwind, should write our congressmen to stop this. It is nothing more than massive air pollution, and just gives the geese a place to eat before they are blasted from the skies by Great White Hunters.
I love to visit these areas, but can’t stand the morons who make such foolish decisions and feel they are doing good creating this kind of air pollution. When will man see the harm he does? After we are gone from this Earth, won’t the animals be so happy? I can’t wait.
Just look up the meaning of refuge — the protection from danger. Can some explain that to the wildlife that lives there?
