Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero designer wedding gown of sophisticated styling in a one-piece, sweetheart neckline design with Swarovski crystal button accents. The fit and flare style gown, featuring embellished lace adorning the bodice with the caught up skirt, was created with ivory empress taffeta and set off with a stunning brooch. Her engagement ring was custom designed by the groom and included an heirloom diamond and band given to her from the groom’s grandmother. Her wedding band was designed with diamonds given to her from her mother. She carried a bouquet of orange gerbera daisies and ivory calla lilies.

Paige Holtzclaw and Tess Holtzclaw, sisters of the bride, of Lake Jackson, served as maids of honor. The matron of honor was Holly Richards of Lake Jackson. The bridesmaids were Jenna Ferlet of Lake Jackson, Katherine Perello of Santa Barbara, California, Chele Robinette of Austin, Natalie Sharp of Houston and Cortney Sprayberry of Austin.

Serving as best man was Vince Robinette, brother in law of the groom, of Austin. Lauren Holtzclaw, niece of the bride, and Reagan Robinette, niece of the groom, were flower girls and the groom’s nephews, Ryan and Drake Robinette, were ring bearers.

The matron, maids of honor and bridesmaids wore tiffany blue strapless satin side ruched ball gowns. The flower girls wore white satin spaghetti strap dresses with tiffany blue sashes and pick-up skirts. The bridal party carried orange gerbera daisies decorated with tiffany blue ribbons.

The groom was wearing a black tuxedo with an ivory vest. His wedding band design included wedding bands from his grandmother and the bride’s late grandfather and diamonds from his mother. The best man, groomsmen and ushers wore black tuxedos with tiffany blue vests.

As the couple lit the unity candle they were serenaded with “When You Say Nothing at All” performed by family friend, Kyla Osborne. Josh Patton, usher and friend of the groom, sang “To Love Somebody,” accompanied with his guitar.

The reading for the ceremony, “Beyond Words,” was done by Tara Slaydon, friend of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the resort. Lush gardens and tropical birds surrounded the reception area, which was decorated with tiffany blue accents and orange gerbera daisies. The tables were covered with tiffany blue chiffon overlays and the chairs were covered with tiffany blue sashes. Orange goldfish and gerbera daisies decorated the tables with hundreds of ivory candles for lighting. An elaborately decorated candy table was a focal point with a cupcake table and three-tiered monogrammed groom’s cake on either side.

As guests entered the reception site, they were served tiffany blue martinis and a variety of cheeses and berries. Guests were also served succulent jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon with Mexican avocado, pancetta rigatoni, orecchiette pasta and potato gnocchi with braised veal.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s mother for the wedding party and special friends at the Yacht Club overlooking the beautiful waters of Horseshoe Bay.

The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and now reside in Austin.
