Sunburst Pageant slated at Brazos Mall
Local children, teens, and young adults will have the opportunity to participate March 27 in the Sunburst USA Beauty Pageant and Baby Contest at Brazos Mall.
The contest will begin at 7 p.m. Registration begins one hour prior to the show.
This pageant is a preliminary to the Sunburst state and international finals. Winners can receive trophies, crowns, sashes, banners and the $200 entry fee paid to the state finals in Houston.
Contestants can stop at the customer service center at the mall to pick up an application.
The pageant is open to boys and girls ages infant to 3, and girls ages 4 to 27.

Festival vendors needed
Organizers of the third annual Danbury Red, White and Blue Festival are seeking food and craft vendors for the event, which will be March 13 and 14.
