Stephanie Dikeman weds Marcus Watts

Stephanie Dikeman of Topeka, Kansas, and Marcus Watts of Hays, Kansas, were united in marriage, Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Hillcrest Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Shannon Bond Dikeman of Topeka, Kansas. The bride’s grandparents are Judy Bond and the late Merle Bond of Lake Jackson, and Carol Dikeman and the late Larry Dikeman of Syracuse, Kansas.

The groom is the son of Mark and Deb Watts of Hays, Kansas. The groom’s grandparents are Harry Watts and the late Valerie Watts of Hays, Kansas, and Kay Maska and the late Jim Maska of Hays, Kansas.

The bride graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s in Social Science (2008), Minor in Leadership Studies (2008) and a Master’s in Regional and Community Planning (2009). She is employed by the City of Manhattan, Community Development Department.

The groom graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s in Social Science (2007) and a minor in Leadership Studies (2007). He is a Sales Representative for GTM Sportswear.

Mackenzie Dikeman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Aaron Rohr, friend of the groom, was the best man.

Mackenzie Dikeman and Brandon Hollis sang “Today” by Joshua Radin. Rich Stevenson, a family friend, accompanied on the guitar.

The newlyweds honeymooned in the Dominican Republic. They now reside in Manhattan, Kansas.
