Rebekah Joylynn Gibson weds Rendall Cory Maynor
Rebekah Joylynn Gibson of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Rendall Cory Maynor of Brazoria, Texas, were married on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 2 p.m at Clute First Assembly of God, with Pastor John Braten officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John Paul and Brenda Gibson of Lake Jackson. The groom is the son of Roy and Connie Maynor of Brazoria.
Rebekah is the granddaughter of Arnold and Johnnie Brizendine and Clifton and Winifred Gibson. Rendall “Cory” is the grandson of Roy and Glenda Harris, Med Clayton and Richard Maynor.
The matron of honor was Rachel Maynor of West Columbia, sister-in-law of the groom and friend of the bride. The best man was Roy Maynor Jr. of West Columbia, brother of the groom.
The bridesmaids were Sarah McCormick of Angleton and Bethany Braten of Clute, friends of the bride.
The groomsmen were Jeremy Bair of Brazoria, cousin of the groom, and Sergio Garcia of Angleton, friend of the groom. Ushers were John Louis Gibson, brother of the bride, and Phillip Baldridge, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Rebekah Maynor, niece of the groom, and the ring bearer was Roy Maynor III, nephew of the groom.
The bride wore a shoulder-length veil and a designer Bonny soft satin gown with an A-line silhouette, off-the-shoulder neckline, rouched waist accented with delicate embroidery and intricate pearl beading.
The bride’s attendants wore clover green, off-the-shoulder capsleeved, tea- length dresses with ruched waist design paired with matching clover green shoes with rhinestone detail.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at Clute First Assembly of God gymnasium. The couple honeymooned in New Braunfels, Texas.
Rebekah and Cory wish to extend thanks to everyone who helped to make their special occasion a memorable event.
