Townes 65th Anniversary
George P. and Jean Townes of Richwood will celebrate their 65th anniversary on August 17, 2009. They have lived in this area since 1948.
The couple has two children. They are Jeannie Sharp and husband, James, and Rogers Townes and wife, Rhonda. They also have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Townes is retired from Dow. Mrs. Townes is retired from Bottom Dollar.
A celebration is planned for Monday, August 17, with their family.
