Watts 50th Anniversary
Walter and Sandra Watts of Lake Jackson celebrated their 50th anniversary on August 1, 2009. They have lived in this area since 1941.
Mrs. Watts is the former Sandra Higgins of Velasco, Texas. The couple have two children. They are Bob and wife Jana (Chase and Chelsea) of Midlothian, Texas; and Jon and wife Deana (Eric, Cory and Marissa) of Lake Jackson.
Mr. Watts was employed by Dow Chemical. Mrs. Watts was employed by Doctors Imperial & Unite.
A celebration was held at 2 p.m. Aug. 1, at Temple Baptist Church in Clute. It was hosted by Margie and John Mustard, Walter’s sister and brother-in-law.
