Jerry E. Glaspie

Funeral services for Jerry E. Glaspie, 28, of Danbury will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Elliott Chapel, with the Rev. Lester Foreman officiating.

Burial will be in Rucker Cemetery, Troup, TX, under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Bullard, TX.

He died March 24, 2007, in Houston, TX.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday before the services at the funeral home in Bullard.

Born July 19, 1978, in Wharton, TX, he graduated from Brazosport College with an associate degree. Jerry was a lifelong resident of the Danbury-Houston area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Danbury, and a lab technician. He was a Dow Chemical scholarship recipient and had later co-op’d with Dow.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Glaspie; grandfather, Pete Glaspie; and grandmother, Eula Mae Burns.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Glaspie of Danbury, TX; grandfather, Leonard Burns of Troup, and grandmother, Frances Glaspie of Whitehouse; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Laura Glaspie of West Columbia, Earnie and Lori Glaspie of Baytown; two nephews, Geoffrey and Blaine Glaspie of Baytown; and numerous aunts, uncles and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Gene Burns, Earnie Glaspie, Michael Glaspie, Harry Stainback, Aaron Gomez and Dean Stainback.
