The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office started receiving calls about a possible tornado touching down at about 9 a.m. Tuesday, Lt. Varon Snelgrove said. Most of the damage occurred in the western part of the county, which included downed trees as well as harm to roofs and the siding of trailer homes.
