ANGLETON — Feed stores are paramount in places like Brazoria County, where serious ranchers who raise animals for a living, those who are grooming them for competitions and people who have horses and other livestock just for the joy of them all need a place to meet their and their animals' needs.

Angleton Feed and Supply does a great job of fulfilling what customers want and was voted as best feed store in the Readers' Choice Awards presented by The Facts.

"It's pretty exciting knowing that we're No. 1 because there's so many stores people could choose from," Angleton Feed and Supply owner Carrie Wilson said. "Customer service is one of our big things, and we try to strive on that and hard work pays off."

With customer service as their foundation, Wilson knows her team will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy and make sure they have a good experience at their store.

"We'll go above for all of our customer's needs," she said. The feed store at 826 E. Mulberry St. has a variety of products they sell, including food, fertilizers, animal health products and show products to give customers an opportunity to get everything they need all in one trip.
