Maria Bonita’s restaurant

Maria Hinds dreamed of opening a restaurant, and Maria Bonita’s in Freeport offers a unique blend of Mexican food with flavors from the Mexican city of Durango and Freeport. Maria Bonita’s also sells authentic Mexican fabrics and decorations.

As the name might suggest, Maria Bonita’s Restaurant is bonita.

Decorated with garlands and flowers, sombreros and colorful sarapes, and tabletops lacquered in the red, green and white of the country’s flag, the restaurant welcomes customers into a festive atmosphere — when there are customers.
