Here we are into August already. I guess we should be grateful for the monsoon season, but I am getting a little tired of it. Of course, now that I said that, you know the rain will stop and I will be doing my rain dance. Not pretty, but maybe it will work. I really will be doing my “keep the hurricanes away” dance.

I have to share with you this note I received from Linda Sharlow. I would think she would have been too busy naming baby sheep to do this, but apparently not. The woman cooks, names lambs and, to cut this short, does a lot of creative things. Oh, the next set of twin baby lambs she is going to name them Gin and Tonic. Now I have arrived! A baby lamb named after me. Even if it’s a boy, the baby won’t know the difference.
