QUINTANA — The main road onto the island will see $2 million worth of repair after collaboration with Freeport LNG and Brazoria County.

The three entities are sharing the cost to fix CR 723, also known as Lamar Street, from FM 1495 to 16th Street, a stretch that has seen deterioration from heavy trucks using it for construction of the liquefied natural gas facility, according to supporting documents filed with Brazoria County.
