Election Day

Paul Kresta greets voters outside their polling location at the Lake Jackson Civic Center on Saturday. Voters streamed into the center throughout the day to vote in the municipal election.

Rob Giesecke is ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work.

In his first bid for public office, Giesecke unseated two-term port commissioner Paul Kresta for Position 4 on the Port Freeport oversight board, according to final, unofficial results released Saturday night by the Brazoria County Elections Division.
