Cody Vasut, Sweeny ISD

Cody Vasut, third from left, participated in a work study session with Connie McAda, left, Superintendent Tory Hill, Earl Mathis, Jan Reddoch and Randy Miksch on Tuesday to learn about Sweeny ISD’s priorities for the upcoming state legislative session.

SWEENY — To Cody Vasut, the bare bones of government are public health and safety, the criminal justice system and public education.

“Those are the big three we have to put as the sacrosanct,” Vasut shared with the Sweeny ISD Board of Trustees.
