Angleton protest

Four women, right, were protesting at the "Heart of Angleton" on Loop 274 when a group of counter protestors parked their trucks next to them on the median on Friday afternoon.

ANGLETON — One group of Angleton residents protested police brutality Friday, and another group of Brazoria County locals protested the idea of defunding police. There were no reports of violence.

Angleton resident Symone Hickman stood with about a half-dozen protestors Friday to protest police brutality. Her protest was not aimed at Angleton police, she said.
