ANGLETON — Other counties have adopted a face mask mandate, but Elizabeth Day does not want to see Brazoria County do the same.

“I want to go on record as a taxpayer and concerned citizen,” Day said during public appearances at Brazoria County Commissioners’ Court meeting Tuesday morning. “I will be generous and say there are others who feel that way, as I do, that we don’t go down that road of mandating people to wear face masks.
