LAKE JACKSON — After a drop in water pressure over the weekend triggered a precautionary boil water notice, city leaders were quick to identify what happened and take steps to prevent the situation from happening again.

“We’ve already implemented new on-call procedures to eliminate the human error that played a role in this failure,” City Manager Modesto Mundo said during Monday evening’s city council meeting.
