ANGLETON — At the end of the quarter, about 40 percent of remote learners were failing a class, Superintendent Phil Edwards shared with the Angleton ISD Board of Trustees.

“A lot of those kids have come back to school so they can be provided the structure to be successful academically, and (teachers and principals) are working with students to get them caught up,” he said during the monthly meeting Tuesday.
