ANGLETON — Brazoria County commissioners will sift through candidates again for the health director post after an Angleton doctor turned down their offer to lead the department.

Commissioners voted unanimously after a closed-door session Tuesday to give the job to Dr. James Boswell. The county would pay him $85,000 plus a $20,000 increase once he started county clinics for those suffering from sexually transmitted diseases.

[sad]My wife paid $ 150 some odd dollars to be able to view this newspaper...and your website will not let me. Bad enough that we had to pay you for it and now can't view it.

Hi Herb,
Apparently, there is an issue with our web server. The entire story was posted, but it is not showing up. We tried to fix it, but the fix didn't take. Here is the end of the story:

“We had three very good folks that we interviewed,” Sebesta said. “Any of those three we interviewed would do a good job.”

Hang in there with us. We're trying to get the bug out. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
