ANGLETON — The two Republican runoff candidates for Texas House District seat 25 waged a war of words Wednesday in hopes of securing residents’ votes.

Brazoria County Tax Assessor-Collector Ro’Vin Garrett and former Angleton city councilman Cody Vasut were the featured guests for the latest Angleton Chamber of Commerce virtual luncheon. Both heralded tax reform as part of their agenda.
