grand old show

Will Hearn, left, Zach Kibodeaux and Greg Essington perform a sing during a previous production of “The Grand Ol’ Christmas Show.”

MaryAnne Essington has seen the “Grand Ol’ Christmas Show” every year since her son, Greg, helps write all the songs for the show every year.

“The ‘Grand Ol’ Christmas Show’ has a variety of entertainment, serious and beautiful songs, comedy and fun groups that will be singing as well,” she said. “Greg has been in the band for 10 years, and (Will Hearn) and my son started the Christmas show in 2003 when they were in high school and charged a dollar for the tickets and donated the money to the youth home.”
