BRAZORIA — City leaders held off on a decision whether to jettison its natural gas service until a deeper discussion can take place during a workshop session.

City Manager Mike Collard suggested the workshop discussion to hammer out the city’s thoughts on the gas company, which residents have called to be sold after the February freeze caused a spike of hundreds of dollars in their monthly bills.
