F.O.R Patriotic Boat Parade a huge success

A record 30 decorated boats participated July 4 in the annual Friends of the River San Bernard Patriotic Boat Parade. This parade entrant sported a bald eagle looking down from the boat roof, two large American flags, the Statue of Liberty, Uncle Sam and excited children who waved small flags at cheering spectators along the stretch of San Bernard River from the FM 521 bridge to the FM 2611 Churchill Bridge.
