Congress Intelligence

Rep. John Ratcliffe, R-Texas, talks with Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas at the top of a Senate Intelligence Committee nomination hearing May 5 on Capitol Hill in Washington. Ratcliffe, now the director of national intelligence, is being criticized by Democrats for not providing oral briefings on possible foreign election interference.

A new furor has erupted over Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe’s decision to give some members of Congress written updates on foreign election interference instead of in-person briefings. In the past, some Hill Democrats have spun and leaked information from the old oral briefings, especially ones given to all members instead of just the intelligence committees. That has prompted Ratcliffe to seek to more carefully control what information is given to Congress in regular intelligence updates.

“I believe this approach helps ensure (that intelligence on) elections security, foreign malign influence and election interference is not misunderstood nor politicized,” Ratcliffe wrote Friday. “It will also better protect our sources and methods and most sensitive intelligence from additional unauthorized disclosures or misuse.”

But the dems are silent and seem ok with China using propaganda to support weak , bought and paid for by China Joe

antone

Oh, but PJBM speaks half-truths - this line of debate ignores the real dangers:

First, "... the intelligence community has been withholding from the public specific intelligence information about the threat of foreign interference in American politics.

Second, you completely ignore the more important first half of that information: "...that Russia is using a variety of measures to denigrate Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden ahead of the November election and that individuals linked to the Kremlin are boosting President Donald Trump’s reelection..."

So you and t. approve (yes in the article he discounts facts) of such nefarious Russian operations, huh? Well, I more hear sadness in those truths: “The facts are chilling,” said a (dem) Senator.

Those spooky Russians getting to you again Antone? "the facts are chilling" said a dem senator. Probably the same Dem Senator that told us for two years "there is undeniable and corroborated evidence Donald Trump colluded with the Russians" Don't you know y'all moved on to Donald Trump started the riots?

Always a sign you have a good leader when he ignores his own intelligence agencies because his friend the dictator tells him so. trump has many believing our intelligence agencies are corrupt and that corruption appeared when he became president. Thankfully most rational people see through his gimmicks.

Father of Six

Yep. He colluded with the Russians and you and Antone have the proof. Not capitalizing the name of the President of the Untied States of America makes you and your son Antone look...well, it makes you look like the people you are.

I thought you accused me of being Mr. Morris' family member in the past. Now I'm Antone's parent?!?! Your responses are getting more desperate and your attempts at belittling me are laughable, Fo6. Biden Harris 2020

father in my conversing with PJBM (above) I listed a fox news article. My bad. For you however, if you could read, than it might provide edification. However it was a mistake to be factual about the dem Senator's “The facts are chilling.”

I had thought not to add that -- my bad. It obviously deflected you from the subject. Hopefully, read the headline below to be informed. ...and read both articles for clarity. That might help with your understanding.

Headline says: "DHS withheld July intelligence bulletin calling out Russian attack on Biden’s mental health --The Trump campaign has repeatedly engaged in a similar line of attack."

Cut and paste: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/dhs-withheld-july-intelligence-bulletin-calling-russian-attack/story?id=72747130

Thanks for adding good info that this has been in the public domain for two years with: "there is undeniable and corroborated evidence Donald Trump colluded with the Russians" Thanks for helping make the point.

Dredging up a different subject in your derisive ending is meaningless and you are...
