Parents of area junior high kids felt anxious and fearful this week amid reports of threats and assaults at Lake Jackson Intermediate and Angleton Junior High schools.

An assault at Lake Jackson Intermediate might not have met the legal definition of sexual assault, but make no mistake, at least one child was traumatized at what occurred in that locker room, and the parent was genuinely distraught and fearful.
