What d o George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Ulysses S. Grant, Father Junipero Serra and Christopher Columbus have in common?

None were Confederate generals, and yet all have had their statues torn down by mobs in the last few days — or, in the case of Roosevelt, had New York’s Museum of Natural History announce a Roosevelt statue at the museum’s entrance will soon be removed.

Only President Trump has tried to even stop it, and was successful

Bull, you are not definitive as to what Trunk stopped? I presume, since the column starts with Washington, Jefferson, etc. did not stop tearing down of their own individual monument, you meant that Trunk stopped tearing down a monument of himself. First, Washington, etc. are not able to prevent anything right now. Second, there are no Trunk monuments. Maybe, you mean the Nazi police around Andrew Jackson monument in Lafayette Square. Wow, googling found it was erected in 1853 prior to the Civil War!![yawn][yawn][ohmy]
