Tears filled her eyes as she watched entertainers on stage at the 20th — and final — Walk for Habitat on Saturday.

“They can follow their passion,” Mary Ruth Rhodenbaugh said as Ballet Folklorico dancers from Westside Elementary in Angleton moved with the music. In her lifetime, that has not always been the case.
