The Angel Tree Program continues to seek donations for sixty remaining seniors, as well as continuing its efforts to supply needy children and families during the local communities' holiday season.

For families experiencing personal catastrophes, such as a job loss or other financial hardship, the places they have to turn are minimal. The demand for assistance to avoid homelessness, especially for women with young children, far exceeds the number of shelter beds.

The Angleton Rotary club donated 30 masks to the Salvation Army, as part of an ongoing mission to help fill community needs. The masks will make a huge difference for Salvation Army staff members as they work to take care of the vulnerable population they serve.
