What seemed like a comfortable lead for the Sweeny Bulldogs all of a sudden turned into a nightmare as the Angleton Wildcat junior varsity scored four times in the final 14 minutes of play for a 5-3 victory at the Stafford Cup on Thursday afternoon.

Rival games are meant to be just what they are regardless of records. On Tuesday both Sweeny and Columbia were looking for its first District 25-4A victory but what happened on the floor was way more exciting in a contest that went back and forth until the Bulldogs finally held on, 75-71.
