With $69.1 million budgeted for revenues and the same amount budgeted for expenditures, Angleton ISD’s general operating fund is expected to balance out for the 2021-22 fiscal year. Trustees also adopted a $1.267 tax rate, a decrease of nearly 6.5 cents from last year’s rate.

 City officials are still evaluating the budget and tax rate for Oyster Creek’s upcoming fiscal year, and will revisit discussions during a special meeting and workshop at 6 p.m. Aug 19 at 3210 FM 523.
