As the number of COVID-19 cases has increased over the past couple of weeks, local high school summer strength and conditioning programs have had to make alterations to stay on the safe side.

So far, the Angleton, Brazoswood and Columbia summer programs each had an athlete test positive for the new coronavirus, prompting quarantines and two districts to shut down their workouts.
