The 2019 Brazoria County Science Fair was open to all Brazoria County students in grades PreK to 8th grade from Feb. 14 to Feb. 16. Students entered projects in a variety of topics such as volcanos, battle bots and presentations on citrus power.

BACH's annual Roll N Stroll event, starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lake Jackson Civic Center, 333 TX-332, will feature a parade, carnival games, popcorn, snacks, arts and crafts, a DJ and friendly races where every child receives a medal.

"A Night in the Spotlight" is 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. April 5 at Freeport RiverPlace, 733 Mystery Harbor Lane. Prom invitations have gone out to Brazoria County’s special young people aged 16 to 22. Admission is free for participants.
